Subutex® is a medication that can be found in France
in the form of pills, available for opiates addicts(héroin,
codeine , &).
It replaces these illegal products, thus reducing the risks associated
to their use.
Like any medication, Subutex® should be prescribed by a general practitioner
; indeed, treatment should be adapted to every individual and the evolution
should be monitored in order to obtain good results.
Subutex® allows
- Avoiding the withdrawal syndrome,
- Reducing or eliminating the opiates consumption,
Provided the taking indications are followed
- Only one take per day,
- In regular quantity,
- Leaving the pills melt in the mouth (sublingual method) for 5 to
10 minutes.
Subutex® is not
- Toxic for the liver (in sublingual takes),
- An antidepressant,
- A short-term treatment,
- An illegal drug : it does not produce euphoria and it is not a tranquilizer,
whatever the consumed quantity,
- Injectable : its components are toxic for the venous system (abscesses,
obstructed veins,…) and the liver (risk of hepatitis).
