such as AIDS, hepatitis B and C and sexually transmissible diseases is
a priority.

Located in Mulhouse since 1996, the "Bemol"
harm reduction center is a walk-in place offering an area to socialize for people addicted
to psychotropic products,
a kind of a "free zone" where they have access to:
- Information on the risks derived from their habits,
- First intention nursing care,
- Sterile materials for use to avoid or minimize
health risks.
Activities
- Anonymous and free reception,
- Listening and orientation,
- Information on infectious risks, their prevention and possible treatments,
- Re-insertion help,
- Documentation and telephone availability,
- Help in the day-to-day life (food service, body hygiene with showers
and toilet outfits, clothes washing, ...),
- Nursing care (no substitution nor psychotropics prescriptions,
- AIDS and hepatitis B and C screening,
- Exchange of syringes and other sterile material for product's use
(Strawbag®),
- Visits in prisons.
